Reading the news on Civil Society the other day I was disappointed to see that Don-8r, the fundraising face to-face robot designed by Tim Pryde earlier this year is not being developed further. Face-to-face fundraising (doorstep) has been under scrutiny by the PFRA lately with new rules and regulations, which are putting off charities from face-to-face, or as I prefer to call it, “hardcore” fundraising.
Was iHobo app a success?
iHobo app was launched by Depaul UK in 2010 and allows users to interact with a virtual youth on their iPhone who has just been made homeless. It received some interesting reviews. But was it a success?
